What’s the difference between your floor work and lofting-inspired?
Hey Akua! Floorwork focuses primarily on the floor and Lofting Inspired focuses on the standing aspect of the dance. A lot of people assume that anything that has to do with “lofting” is on the floor, but it’s not always the case – it’s also a whole dance up top.
Hi Jardy, I own your Footwork Styler Mastery Course Ver. 1 and am wondering how this course defers. Can you please explain or is there a comparison of all your courses somehwhere?
Hey Andrew! The concept of putting moves together using transitions remains the same. But I’ve also added more moves to the program, added new ways to go in and out of familiar transitional moves, and added musicality exercises, drills, freestyle exercises, lessons in styling, and you get new warmups and even cool downs too. It’ll feel familiar, but you learn a whole lot more. Let me know if you have any other questions! π
Hey Jardy! Itβs Syuu here from Japan.
Iβve been learning house for a half year. I learned the basics from the vedio of Hiro, you must know Hiro. And then I found yours from the YouTube. Iβm loving it so I enrolled here now.
Awesome Syuu! Very glad to have you. And yes I know Hiro, tell him I said hi! π
Hi Jardy – If I was to enroll, will all of this count towards the teacher training – if not, when do you think you will have the info for that? Thanks!
Yes it is! For teacher training you have to take all the modules then one last one just for certification. π
Hi Jardy,
I am an absolute beginner, I want to learn to dance. Is this the right course?.
Yes! Beginners can take this course too.
Will the floorwork/lofting/jacking modules follow after the footwork course is completed? I may be interested in sticking with the entire series and was wondering if they are meant to be followed sequentially? Thank you Jardy, love and appreciate your work!
It’s all sequential! This semester will focus on Footwork and Floorwork and next semester will focus on the other three modules. And thank you for the kind words, Grant!
Hi Jardy! I am 55 years old, but in god shape, running 30 km a week, have run 8 marathon dance (a kind of Hip-Hop) and I have joined classes in Jazz and Charleston. Your Cowtail was excellent! Do you have/had old students like me or am I the winner of “The oldest House Student in History”π.Anyway I am very motivated and looking forward to be learning from you.
In Norway It is impossible to find a House course, but no problem when I have join your school ! Do you think it is an advantage to exercise muscles/fitness/endurance to be “fit for fight” when the school begins? I hope you understand my broken English. Did you announced something about free videos to students who enrolled at an early stage? Just asking… Thank you so much, The π of House Dance. Have you been in Norway or Scandinavia? Peace. Tineππ³π΄
Hey Tine! So happy to have you! Yes, I have actually had older students in my program, so I’m not sure if we can call you the winner until I verify everyone’s ages, lol. And yes, I think being in good shape to begin with is always good for any physical activity. I’ll be releasing the 20 winners soon, so I wish you luck! I still haven’t been to Norway or Scandinavia, but I’d love to visit someday! I’ve always wanted to go to Norway, actually. See you in the classes Tine!
Hey Jardy
I am so excited to get going. I love your classes. I am very irregular in taking classes but i have never stopped dancing. Please tell TIne he is not the oldest :). (Good luck trying to verify my age.) And I hiked and traveled in Norway in early 2000’s (maybe 2003). Fabulous country. Thank you so much for what you do; I love watching you dance!! Moira
Hi Jardy, I am new student from Japan and also a beginner. Today I need your shoes recommendation. What is the best sneaker for you. I will refer to your idea. Thank you in advance!
Hey Keiko! Sorry, but I just saw this question. I my current favorite shoes to dance in are the Nike Lunarepic Flyknit Low 2 and Nike Flyknit Racer. I also liked to dance in Nike Roshe Run.
