Hey there Alaine! This course is all levels and is very beginner friendly. In fact, you can learn how to house dance, even with no experience, from this course alone. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Is this an open course, meaning you can start at anytime?

Yes! I’ll be closing enrollment in about a week, so you can sign up until then. Class starts the moment you enroll. Let me know if you have any other questions, Kerem!

      Hey Jardy,

Is the enrolment fee ($79 USD) a one time fee where I can access all 15 weeks of course material or will you be charging $79 USD every month?

Hey Queen! It’s $79USD per month. After 4 months, you get permanent access to the Footwork Mastery module. Please let me know if you have any other questions! 🙂

      Hi Jardy,
Exciting Course you have here! I have a few questions if you don’t mind answering.
      1. What tools or equipment-would you say I would need? ( I know this seems silly but I wanted to put it out there??
      2. How long is each lecture?
      3. Consequently how much should we be practicing each day?
      4. Also how does bodyweight and flexibility play a role in learning dance? (Me particularly I gained some muscle weight and have improved my flexibility-but definitely have ways to go in both)
      5. Part of my motivation for doing this is I want to improve my rhythm and flexibility (As I am getting older -currently in my mid 30s, I feel like I am getting stiffer lol) Could you comment on this? Because this is such a physical and coordinated activity, how likely can I have progressive changes at this point in life with no prior dance experience?

      Thank you,
      Krishna

        Hi Krishna! Sure thing

        1. You don’t need any tools – just enough room to dance and perhaps some comfortable shoes and clothes. 🙂
        2. Each weekly lecture is approximately an hour long if you watch all the videos without pausing or rewinding. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less.
        3. You can practice as little or as much as you want each day. I used to practice 3 hours a day, but nowadays, I care more about consistency than quantity. Consistent practice is more important than practicing for long periods but only occasionally.
        4. I’ve had students on the heavier side still look light-footed with their dance, so technique is more of a factor than body weight. As for flexibility, stretching out your feet probably the most beneficial when it comes to house dance. I don’t particularly teach things that require a lot of flexibility.
        5. Your rhythm and flexibility can definitely improve. Improving flexibility may take more than just house dance alone, although I’ve had students say they feel more flexible after doing my cool-downs consistently. And even with no dance experience, you will be able to pick up the material in the course. 🙂

I hope I was able to answer all your questions! Let me know if you have any others.

Hi! I have a few questions as well.
      1) I was wondering if there’s a deadline to complete this module? As an absolute beginner, I feel I may take longer to complete this course. Also, how long are the videos available for viewing? For example, are week 1 videos only accessible for 2 weeks after the module enrollment start date?
      2) It says that I’ll automatically enroll in the next module. How soon does the next module start? I’m just afraid that it will be scheduled back to back, and I haven’t felt comfortable to proceed to the next course and will fall behind.
      3) Are payments drafted automatically? Can I set the draft date?
      4) What are homework assignments? Are they required to complete this course?
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer. I appreciate it!

Hi Maru! I’d love to answer your questions.

        1) There’s no deadline whatsoever – you can take everything at your own pace. The lessons will be available as long as you’re enrolled, plus you get permanent access to modules that you complete.
        2) The next module starts immediately after the module before it, but you can start that module when you’re ready. It will just be available when you need it. You can also also cancel at any point – there’s no pressure to keep taking all the modules. There’s also no such thing as falling behind in this course. Everything can be taken at your own pace.
        3) Payments will go through automatically on the same day of the month that you enroll.
        4) Homework assignments are for you to challenge yourself and record your progress. They’re not required for you to complete the course.

I hope this answers your questions! 🙂
