Super late to the party, but stoked to have (almost) recovered from an achilles injury a few weeks back. Excited to get caught up with everyone especially since finally getting comfortable with the loose legs choreo.
Here's part 2 after getting the rhythm n steps down. Focusing on hand coordination and accenting steps with my hips. Starting to feel a bit more natural towards the end of this session.
This is part 3 of week one loose legs. I found after rewatching myself on video that loose legs seems to look best when the heel step finds a center point so I used the red circle at the bottom of my screen a guide to try and heel step directly down the middle every time. I think it helped, at least on camera looks more in control and balanced from either side's ball change. I've been practicing the side hop and the reset too, but I think by the end of tomorrows dance sesh it'll looks a bit more seamless/ready to show off.
P.S. *note to self* don't sync the video with music when using bluetooth cuz that means your feet won't be sync'd to the beat 🤪
Part 4, getting my reps in with the side hop and resets. Definitely need to clean up the technical side of those steps, but I can start to feel where the feet are supposed to drop. Will def be working on cleaning that up while learning week 2 skills! Also trying to incorporate some liquid with the house step, I find when I do some flowy stuff first it helps me not think too much and just have fun with it.
