Can the lectures be visited at any time throughout the week or are there set times & days that students must attend?
Hi Kelzey! The lessons are pre-recorded and are sent out every Monday, so you don’t have to worry about missing out. π
Hi! I just want to clarify – is it $79 for 5 months? Even though it says the curriculum takes 12 months to complete?
Also, how much time per week should we expect to spend on the lessons?
Thanks!
Hi Brooke! It’s $79 per month, and the first module, Footwork, is 4 months long. After that, it’s up to you whether you’d like to continue with the other modules and expand your movement. You can also cancel at any time for any reason. The course is taken at your own pace, so you can put as much energy into it as you’d like. If you’re looking to stay consistent, 3 hours a week would be great. New lessons are sent out each Monday. π
Is this course suitable if you have little dance background? I started shuffling about 6 months ago and house dancing group classes for about a month a love it!
Hi Iggy! I think I already answered you through email, but yes, this course is for all levels. π
Does the course also go into the history of house and the moves or is it only teaching the technical aspects?
I don’t focus on the history of house dance per se, but I do do analyses of classic videos to show you how certain styles and movements came to be and how they tie into house dance today.
Would you ever consider pricing out lessons individually? With a 10 sec preview to each.
Mark em $5 each.
Hey Ryan! The course is progressive and later lessons often reference earlier ones, so it makes the most sense to release the lessons in order. π
Hey Jardy!
What is the deadline to enroll, if any?
Hey Dona! The last day to enroll will be February 28, and the first day of class is March 1. π
Hey, really awesome course structure although, is this course certified and how will we be able to interact with other students and you, Jardy?
Hey Vikas! I’m currently working on a certification program for those who have completed the 50-week course. For interaction, we have a private Facebook page for the students, plus a private progress videos forum where students upload their homework.
Thank you so much for replying, can you tell me about what the 50-week course is? And also how are we going to be assessed in this course?

The 50 week course basically covers several aspects of house dance – basically all the different styles that are common within the dance. Unless you’re planning to join my certification program so you could teach using my teaching method, you don’t really have to worry about grades or failing. It’s something you can take at your own pace and take as casually or as seriously as you want. No pressure.

Just wondering how much access are you able to have after the spring course is over? is the curriculum only available for the 15 week period? I’m asking because I have a very unpredictable work schedule but would love to enroll and learn at my own pace but concerned about time running out before I finish all the lessons. Thanks in advance.
Hey there Joe! The course is composed of 5 modules. The first one, Footwork Mastery, is 15 weeks long, and after about 4 months of subscription payments, you’ll get permanent access to that module. You’ll get permanent access to all the modules you stick around for. The course is totally something you can take at your own pace! If you have any more questions please let me know! π
Hi Jardy. This looks like one of the most comprehensive online programs out there. Just wondering: assuming one goes through the entire course, would this style lend itself well to learning other styles of dance? Is it in any sense *foundational*, so to speak?
Hi Ari! From my experience, learning one dance form can help you with other, similar dance forms. I teach several “sub-styles” of house dance, as well as hip hop grooves and moves in my course, so it can potentially help you with other street and club dances.
Do you give us feedback?
Hey Richie! Yes I do in the “Progress Videos” forum through (optional) homework assignments.
I have already enrolled your course. I wanna know your timezone because Im living in the different timezone
I’m in California. New lessons are available at 1pm every Monday in my time. The first class will be available tomorrow! The classes are pre-recorded, so don’t worry about missing out. So happy you enrolled! π
