Hi all! I’ve been wearing light Nike running shoes for dancing but find they cause too much friction. Do you have recommendations for your favorite sneaker brands/models for house dance?

Hehe I think I asked a similar question in another thread. I think it's one of those things where you just have to find something that works for you is the general sentiment.

Having said that I find Nike Roshe's to work rather nicely for me at least - they're very light, super bendable and don't have rubber soles so they don't grip the floor too much :]

@lumi Thank you so much for sharing! Those look really comfy and similar to my current Nike sneakers (which I really like but would just want less grip). I just ordered a pair of Nike Max 90s to try them out - I'll let you know how it goes!

I was on a similar quest not too long ago and thought it quite funny when I realized how I was describing my ideal shoe to the assistant when asking for something with minimal grip but not wanting to divulge too much 😋.

That's awesome! Hope it's a winner and yeah definitely let us know how it goes :]
